Concept

Guardians of Humanity is based on a anti-bullying programme that sees the galactic space hero’s known as the defenders traveling through space and planets protecting the galaxy from bullying - in the programme we see extracts of different scenes that show different forms of bullying!

Who is it for?

Our program is appropriate for years 4, 5 and 6. We can offer to deliver the program to a whole year group, a whole class, or select groups from across those year groups. Our work is challenging and engaging, thought provoking and energetic! We can discuss including individuals from other Year groups should your school deem it appropriate - Just ask!

Duration

Performance & workshop - 50 minutes. This includes a 30 minute facilitated performance, followed by an interactive 20 minute workshop with some of the characters from the performance. We advise setting aside one hour to include getting year groups in/out of the hall/classroom/setting. This can be delivered to any size group, from a single class, to a whole year group, to the whole of year 4, 5 and 6!

Class at a time in-depth workshop - 30 minutes. Our in depth follow up classroom workshops are incredibly useful to solidify the knowledge  gained from the performance and earlier workshop, and here we can go into much more detail on specific topics. We are happy to tailor this to the needs of the school. For example, if year five students at your school were currently exploring Online Safety in PSHE, we could tailor our workshop to focus on exploring this further and focusing on this part of the performance.

Where can it take place?

A huge advantage to Preme Productions company is that we come to you, and do our own set up! We also organise all of the booking admin. All we need is a space that we can perform and facilitate our workshop in.Typically a school hall/gym/assembly setting works best for the performance and facilitated workshop, as this is to a large audience. Our class-at-a-time workshops are manageable in just a classroom. We could travel between classrooms or be set up in one space, and have one class at a time come to us.

Concept

Two actor-facilitators known as The Defenders are traveling across the galaxy, collecting research and data to make a galactic Anti-Bullying Guide. Depicting thought-provoking scenes they need your help to explore the topics of anti-bullying, online safety, grooming, mental health and wellbeing, and all the different things we can do to stay safe! ….can you help?!

Who is it for?
